(Cincinnati) Bob Huggins has proven success as a program builder, recruiter and game strategist who has directed his alma mater to 80 victories, the 2010 NCAA Final Four and the 2010 BIG EAST championship during his first three seasons at West Virginia.

In this all-access DVD presentation, Coach Huggins lets you inside his practices as he prepares his team for the 2011 season.

Watch as Coach Huggins uses the whole-part-whole method to teach his players how to effectively execute the offensive and defensive system.

Offensive System Coach Huggins runs his players through his offensive sets and the break down drills to help teach the necessary screens, passes, and scoring options.

Huggins breaks the sets down in a 5-on-0 setting and follows this up with a half court 5-on-5 session. Huggins also goes through his Cut & Fill Motion offense and drills used to help teach the movement of the offense, the zone offense, the press offense and breakdown drills to teach the press offense. Defensive System Coach Huggins teams' have always been known for playing a tough and aggressive man-to-man defense. In these practices, you get to see the drills used to teach individual and team defense skills. Huggins shares 14 defensive drills to teach his players to defend on the ball, close outs, help and recover, defending screens, and rotations. Rebounding and Transition These two key areas are reinforced by Coach Huggins in every drill. These areas are broken down further through eight individual development drills. In these three practices, you will see Coach Huggins philosophy of breaking down practice into half offensive and half defensive work as well as having great intensity both ends of the floor. His belief in the need to develop players muscle memory into reactions through the uses of the specific breakdown drills is also evident.
